| Hunt country: |
Lies in the north part of Co Down and occupies over a quarter of its area. It is mixed farming, with an increasing amount of wire fencing requires a clever, active horse. |
| History: |
The Hunt was established with a harrier pack in 1881 to succeed the Dufferin Harriers which had formerly hunted the country. Hounds hunt fox, and the Hunt has been recognized by the Irish MFHA since 1981. Registered as Harriers until 1995. |
