Hunt country: In eastern Aiken County, approximately 20 miles by 10 miles of pasture, woodland and planted pines. Footing is sandy and excellent all season. The country is not panelled. Additional country opened in Allendale and Baunwell counties of South Carolina. Same footing and conditions apply.
History: Founded in 1996 as a modest farmers' pack, the Why Worry Hounds' goal is to blend some of the old Bywaters bloodlines with crossbreds of English influence. The interest in the Bywaters bloodlines is strong because George, a 6th generation huntsman, is a Bywaters himself through his Mother's family.
Hounds: Entered: 26 couple Crossbred, 1/2 couple English
Puppies: 4 couple English, 10 couple Crossbred
Foxes and coyotes are hunted
Uniform: Confederate Gray with dark green piping
