The Isle of Wight Foot Beagles were originally formed in 1906 by Mr Young. They were disbanded during the Great War, not restarting until 1924 when Lt. Col. FJT Mew and his sister took over. They were again disbanded in 1940 and re-formed in 1959. |

The uniform (only worn by the Master and hunt staff) is green beagling coat, white breeches, green socks and green fore and aft hat. |
