President: Richard Umholtz Phone: (518) 872-1872 Field Trial Secretary: Joe Nell Phone: (518) 374-0058 AKC Delegate: Christopher Keenan Phone: (845) 868-7854 OBJECTS OF THIS CLUB: The objects of this Club shall be to encourage the breeding, and to promote the improvement of the Beagle; to encourage and participate in Beagle Field Trials and Bench shows; and to assist each other against theft and loss of Beagle hounds. HEADQUARTERS & RUNNING GROUNDS: 10 Beagle Club Way, Nassau, N.Y. 12123. From I-87 (New York State Thruway), take Exit 21-A east to Exit B-1. Upon exiting the toll booths, stay to the right and take NY Rt. 9 north for 1/4 mile. Take a right on Kingman Rd. go 1/8 mile, then take a right onto the Club's mile long dirt road (Beagle Club Way) which leads to the clubhouse. MEETINGS: All regular meetings of the club shall be held at the clubhouse, Nassau, Rensselaer County, New York, on the second Monday of each month at 7:30 P.M. unless otherwise announced. Note: No regular meetings of the Club are conducted during the months of January, February, and March. The snow and ice which accumulated on the mile long entrance road makes it too difficult to drive to the clubhouse. WORK PARTIES: All work parties are scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on the Saturday following the Monday on which the regular meeting of the club are conducted. FIELD TRIALS: SANCTIONED TRIALS CONDUCTED New England Association Derby Trial: During April. Eastern Federation Derby Trial: During April. National Brace Championship Qualifying Trial: During May. New York State Championship Qualifying Trial: During May. Gun Dog Brace Trial: During June. LICENSED TRIALS Traditional Brace on Rabbits During September. Note: Fenced running grounds, meals served, plenty of rabbits. |
