Located near Fredonia, NY
in Chautauqua County. 40 fenced acres that has several mowed paths. The
grounds are always in top shape and are a pleasure to walk around in and
run in. We have plenty of rabbits including hare that we buy and also
raise ourselves in a separate pen.
Membership:We limit the
membership to 45 members plus junior members. At this time the
membership is filled and we have a waiting list. We have no limit on
junior members with the hope that we'll attract as many young people as
possible. Dues are $50/year with a $25 initiation fee the first year.
Club House: The club house
is always open and has soft drinks and a kitchen available to members
that are using the club.
Meeting: Our monthly
meeting is on the first Sunday of every month.
Trials: We run AKC - SPO
trials and at this time we have scheduled a derby and an Iroqouis
sanctioned trial on the weekend of April 15th and 16th. Our 4 day
licensed trial starts September 28th and goes to October 1st. Several
members are active in the UKC as well so this past year we held a UKC
trial on our grounds and it went real good, so we may hold another UKC
trial this year as well.
We always have a real good turnout for our trials and have great meals
as well. We serve a hearty breakfast and then for lunch we have anything
from burgers to chicken barbeque with several side dishes and desserts.
Nobody goes hungry at our trials!
